This installation explores spatial notion of the boundaries between public and private spaces as well as metaphors for the organic and spiritual domains of life. The work arouses viewers’ curiosity and allows physical experiences through touching and playing. The large-scale mass of cotton cloud floats in the gallery space. The stairs is the cue to direct the viewer into the artwork. Viewers are able to climb up the stairs to plunge their body into the masses of cloud.

I am interested in the relationships between the artist, viewer, and the work in a participatory way. The artwork creates a social environment in which people come together in a shared activity. Viewers could bring their own experiences into my artwork. I am interested in that moment, when viewers slip into their private imaginations or own memories through the physical immersion of my work.
